YOUR VALUES AND GOALS.

Many people are sick and do not know what direction to take in their lives because they are scattered and do not know their values and goals well. Every person has different values and in a different order, some people put God first, some put their children first, some put their husband or wife first, some put their work or philanthropy first

Based on the order of your values you will have a specific path to achieve the life you want and your goals.

There are two types of goals: functional and ultimate. A very simple example of a functional goal is: I want to get into that acting school because it is the best, while the ultimate goal is: I want to work in that film or theater production. Another functional goal is: I want to lose five pounds, given by the end goal: I want to look better. Very often people confuse functional goals with end goals. Functionals that give you the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge you need for your ultimate goals. Example of an end goal: to shoot a film with a particular director in a foreign language, having to play a character who has a completely different build than you; functional goals: to study the language in which the film will be shot, to choose a suitable eating plan to gain or lose weight, and to train myself to shape my body to match the character's psychophysical characteristics.

Now I want you to set ultimate goals from here to 1, 2, 5 and 10 years. What are the events that should happen in your life and career a year from now: change cities? find an agent? Shoot a movie with that actor or director? go from a supporting role to a leading role? Let your imagination run wild, and then for all the final goals for the various years, jot down a list of functional goals-this will be your road map for your future. You can change values and goals over time, for example now you are completely focused on work but in some time you will decide to get married and/or have children, so in the first place instead of money or work, you will put your soul mate or your future children, so the advice I give you is to take a look every 5/6 months at both the value scale and the list of goals and check if you are meeting them and if they are still valid for you; it may happen at some point that we are striving for a goal, which in truth is worth nothing to us, it was a goal programmed into us by the outside world, we simply have to eliminate it, there would be no point in following useless illusions like Don Quixote, once we have woken up and are evolving and understanding who we are. Many people chase goals that do not belong to them or remain focused on goals they have already surpassed in the past: what is the point of running only 5 kilometers if you are ready for a marathon? All this happens because we get caught up in the past and in things that don't belong to us; many people like to stay in their comfort zone and complain that everything goes wrong for them and that others get what they would like. Great artists don't complain, they continue to work hard, train, study and learn new things, praise others and support each other. So no excuses, action must be taken.
